Vampire Lover Jasmine Parks Returns in Jennifer Rardin's Sixth Novel

The Jaz Parks series has got it all: mystery, intrigue, adventure, aliens, supernatural beings, hot romance, and a fair dose of humour.

Bite Marks is the sixth book in the Jaz Parks series, which chronicles the adventures of a sexy, tough-as-nails female assassin.

As she heads to Australia for her latest mission, CIA agent Jaz Parks – killer, "Sensitive," and "Avhar" to her lover – starts to lose her edge when she begins to hear voices in her head. Unlike her usual mental crew – her teenage self, her libidinous alter ego, and smug Granny May – this voice interferes with our heroine's daily activities… Which consist of hunting demons, seducing vampires, and foiling an evil gnome shaman's plans to topple NASA.

Fans of Sparkle Hayter (What's A Girl Gotta Do?) and Janet Evanovich (Finger Lickin' Fifteen) will love Jennifer Rardin's books: the red-haired Jaz Parks is hot – but not too hot – tough – but vulnerable at the right moment – smart, witty, and she can kick proverbial butt. This is not highbrow literature, but those who enjoy a little bit of mystery, lots of action and a great many chuckles will love the Jaz Parks series: the books are highly entertaining.

Bite Marks is perfect for the beach, or lazy Sunday afternoons: it is light, fun, and a quick read… and with Jaz Parks, there is never a dull moment.

In the first book of the series, we meet fiery-haired CIA assassin Jaz Parks and Vayl, her Romanian boss – who happens to be a vampire. As the pair head to Florida to take out a Miami plastic surgeon, they encounter their fair share of both terrorists, and nasty supernatural beings.

2. Another One Bites the Dust

In Another One Bites the Dust, Jaz poses as a belly dancer at the Corpus Christi Winter Festival. Her mission calls for her to retrieve stolen biotechnology and battle ancient fiends… all in a day's work, for Jaz.

3. Biting the Bullet

In the third Jaz Parks book, our heroine goes undercover as Lucille Robinson on a perilous mission that's a little bit more complicated than her usual hits. So complicated, in fact, that she requires the services of a psychic – and a very stylish one at that! – an interpreter, and a weapons specialist.

4. Bitten to Death

In Bitten to Death, Jaz's latest mission takes her to the ancient Greek city of Patras where, sadly, she gets to do very little sightseeing. Unless, of course, you count infiltrating a criminal mastermind's den as sightseeing.

5. One More Bite

The fifth book of the series takes our favourite assassin and her crew to the Scottish Highlands to deal with – you guessed it! – werewolves (or "weres," as it were,) evil vampires, and tattooed demons. A tall order even for Jaz who, despite all the action, manages to get a little action of her own!

Born in Fuji-Yoshida, Japan, on May 14, 1982, Jasmine Elaine Parks attended the University of Illinois on a track scholarship, eventually graduating with a B.S. in Supernatural Criminology. She went on to earn a fifth degree black belt in taekwondo and became a sharpshooter with the CIA. She lives wherever her perilous missions take her, with her beloved Malamute, Jack.

Born in Evansville, Indiana on April 28, 1965, Jennifer Rardin began writing at the age of 12.
